How Season 0 points are calculated
Season 0 points are calculated from the fees a wallet has paid. This post shows the formula and an example.
Formula
Points = (gas paid in USD × 100 + transactions × 5) × network spread × wallet age.
- Gas paid. Each fee in USD at the coin price on the day of payment, including fees for failed transactions.
- Transactions. 5 points each, so wallets on low-fee networks also earn points.
- Network spread. +3% for every network after the first, capped at ×2.00.
- Wallet age. First fee before 2020 gets ×1.30, in 2020-2021 ×1.20, in 2022-2023 ×1.10.
Example
A wallet paid $435.36 in gas over 436 transactions on 13 networks, with its first fee in 2023.
| Step | Value |
|---|---|
| Gas: 435.36 × 100 | 43,536 |
| Transactions: 436 × 5 | 2,180 |
| Subtotal | 45,716 |
| Network spread: 1 + 0.03 × 12 | × 1.36 |
| Wallet age: first fee in 2023 | × 1.10 |
| Total | 68,391 points, grade RON 98 |
Octane grades
Your total sets a grade: RON 92 for any wallet, RON 95 from 10,000 points, RON 98 from 50,000, RON 100 from 250,000, JET A-1 from 1,000,000 and RP-1 from 5,000,000. Higher grades boost Season 1 points by 5% to 25%.
Not counted
